Rank
My meetings all took place this morning. This afternoon, there was supposed to be an internal seminar about the company's health plan, but it was cancelled due to technical issues. So, I continued reviewing some tickets.
I ate a lot of junk today, mainly because I am using the lack of a properly functioning fridge as an excuse not to buy fresh food, which will go off before it is fully consumed. I needed to attend my Tai Chi class to compensate for the lack of healthy activities.
On the way, I just missed a train. That meant I had about five minutes from the time the train pulled into the platform at Waterloo before the class started the warm-up exercises. I didn't make it today, and I had to drop into the grid at the back. It doesn't really matter, but I always feel bad.
After class, I walked back to Waterloo. There were a lot of taxis waiting on the rank tonight, so the line stretched around the corner of the station. The taxi lights gave this back entrance of Waterloo a nice glow.
I just missed the return train; maybe my timing is off today. The next train to Raynes Park was cancelled, so I had to wait a bit. On the train, I read an email from the Blood Transfusion Service, which invited me to make an appointment in Wimbledon in a couple of weeks. This surprised me, as I thought I was giving blood again next week. It turns out that I never booked the appointment for next Wednesday, but PY had. The upside is that I can attend next week's Tai Chi class, and I'll be back at Waterloo next week.
