In the Spotlight

The calm surface of the sea and the bright sunshine created some beautiful effects on the water as we walked this morning. It was possible to see far into the distance along the peninsula and out to the horizon at sea. Such a pleasant change to the gloomy weather yesterday.

Good to:
- Have a clear out of clothing. I’ve a pile for charity and another for textile recycling.
- To see two great crested grebes in winter plumage bobbing on the sea as walked this morning.
- To get some covers onto a few of the beds at the allotment. The sticky bands are now on the trunks of the fruit trees too.
