Snow leopard (extra)

A fairly full day again, I’m not sure whether it’s me or Dippy keeping us busy.
A good tromp around the farmland most of it with Vivienne and Maisie for company.
Dippy has so much energy and enthusiasm for life it’s a great place for us to be able to get out and enjoy Gods grace and creativity in the mornings.
Back for breakfast and the usual routine of organising the van for the day.
I decided that I would try hand washing my clothes, I have an endless supply of hot water and seven no excuses. Bucket bowl and sink., not a twin tub, a triple tub!
I rigged up a washing line under the awning and started praying for some less humid weather and a bit of wind.
Cheese and pickle sandwich for lunch and then off to a craft fair at Westward Ho Baptist Church hall, I knew several of the talented crafts people who were displaying their work and it was a wonderful display of creativity and passion there.
Dippy was entertained by a couple of people who were more interested in him than selling their art work. This gave me the chance to have a good look round in peace.
This is where I came across the little snow leopard the perfect mate for the leopard I bought at Rosemoor Gardens last month! (See extra)
A walk along the beach was interesting as high tide meant that the pebble ridge was the only way to get along, Dippy enjoyed foraging in amongst the flotsam and avoiding the occasional waves.
With the weather picking up, we decided to have a stroll along the quay in Appledore , lots of crab fisher families who down for half term holiday. As we neared the end of The Quay my friend Martin and his fishing boat the Cheeky Monkey arrived in after a short trip out he asked if we fancied a quick spin around the bay before it got dark.
Dippy and I hopped in and enjoyed an hour chugging along on the high seas, fish less but fun.
We bought some chips from our favourite chip shop and saved most of them to have with the Pollack we’d caught at the weekend. Scrumptious it was too!
Reading as Dippy snored away under his throw soon had me dozing!
Zzzzzzz
