We're stalled in Cedar
City - some jobs to keep us
busy for the day

We decided not to venture to Bryce Canyon this morning. Icy roads and even higher elevations didn't lure me. I'm sorry not to show my friend this fascinating place. I've seen it before, even with a dusting of snow.
We've had a lazy day. My friend did laundry (and ironing!) while I did long distance office work. I see we have another hearing scheduled for November 25. My daughter will field this one and I will help in the preparation from afar.
At noon, I ventured just outside our hotel room to see a beautiful day with snow atop the near hills. Some snow remained in the parking lot shadows and on this vehicle parked beside mine.
Outside the lobby side door, a small 'rock garden' has been composed of hand-painted rocks. The lady behind the front desk explained that this had started during covid with locals, staff and guests providing the painted rocks.
In the morning, we will be on our way to Hurricane, Utah with plans to visit Zion National Park. It is my favourite of all the national parks I have visited thus far.
