A very short drive
to Hurricane, Utah this
morning - in sunshine!

We took our time leaving Cedar City, Utah this morning. I wanted the temperature  to rise above freezing even though the roads looked bare and dry and the highway traffic was moving smoothly. 

We got back on the I-15 heading south. Traffic was light and the sunshine was glorious. It's about 40 miles to Hurricane so we can get closer to Zion National Park. Our hotel is right beside Hwy 9.

The hotels seem to like to decorate for the seasons, so the Hallowe'en theme was present today.

I got a couple of shots of the landscape near our hotel and one of the room. It will be another low mileage, lowkey day for us. My feet would like another day off.
