Autumn (not Halloween!)
Margaret Soraya held a coffee morning online for members of Creative Haven. I was a bit late because I was making coffee and I joined to find what sounded like an anti coffee discussion. People were telling Margaret not to have a coffee machine in her new studio but to have tea only instead.
I sipped my coffee and kept quiet!
There was a technical discussion about processing and the use of RAW files. It's the first time I remember anything as technical in one of Margaret's groups. I asked for advice about buying a Macbook pro and had some useful pointers.
I wonder if I should wait for Black Friday.......
After lunch, I went to Hexham. I was very lucky with parking; the town is heaving most days because of half term.
I met Anne P in Salute. We enjoyed the coffee and a long chat. I'm afraid that most was about our poorly friends and acquaintances. Some very sad stuff.
On my way back to the car, I went to see the postbox topper. I was delighted to see this autumn creation and no Halloween one.
Yes, I don't like Halloween. Liz, from down the village, sent a message to say they had been inundated with witches and ghouls. I suspect that my long drive and having the house in darkness has deterred them. (I do have some sweets, just in case.)
Margret didn't feel well enough to get out of bed, but was going to try later today. She needs lots of rest as well as the physio and occupational therapy.
Off to hear a MyPhotoClub talk on phone photography. The website would not recognise my email never mind my password, but I was able to book and pay.
