Conversations at the Mart
I went to the Hexham Mart this morning to see both sheep and cattle being sold.
I need to go lots of times to learn how to capture the events. The light is low so I have to use wide open lenses and the ISO is still high.
Anyway, instead of sheep and cows, I offer you three conversations. (I just love watching people.) A lot of the farmers there are concentrating hard on the sale and are very serious. Occasionally I spot the flicker of a finger as someone bids. It's fascinating.
Julie had invited me for lunch along with Hilary and Ian. We had lively conversation over an excellent lunch. Julie is the very best for entertaining.
I nearly forgot to say that Julie had big news. She has a date for her knee replacement - at last. Hooray!
When I arrived home, I banged on the heating, brewed a cuppa and fell asleep in my chair with Daisy on my knee!
