Out for coffee

A text message at 8.33 am from the surgery was to say that there was no fracture to B’s wrist, but swelling of the soft tissues. Now that was a prompt response. I suppose that the hospital is not sure how quickly the GP practice will communicate with the patient so will give a wide time frame.

We were due to go down to the practice to collect our routine meds ordered last weekend. And to get a few odds and ends on the high st.

We took Amber with us for some socialising and went to the quirky coffee shop. We are always made most welcome and Amber is greatly admired by staff and other customers.

It was a nice relaxing time.
