All Hallows Day

I decided to go and photograph Nazeing All Saints church as it's All Hallows or All Saints Day. As Mish and I arrived a big black bird flew from the tower. I stood at the top of the hill and watched it flying over the valley. What a thrill. I'm convinced by its almost grunting call that it was a raven. (Extras)

I photographed the Star Wars Stormtrooper outside a substantial property opposite the church with Esper in mind.

I've had a very exciting evening. When I started my car after doing my M&S shop it was showing a flashing CEL and sounding very rough. I learnt when in the car club not to drive the vehicle if the CEL is flashing. I phoned the AA and spoke to a tech guy who said I'd risk damaging my cat if I did. I told him I thought the issue was a coil pack. A man in a van arrived in thirty minutes. The issue was indeed a coil pack but he hadn't got one on board and it was too late in the day for him to get one. I'd told him about my 2002 Honda S2000 that has been mouldering away in the shed for years after I took it off the road because it failed the MOT with rusted rear arches and sills. He suggested bringing me home and taking a coil pack off that car then returning to Cheshunt and fitting it to my 2005. That's what we did. I absolutely love it that my beloved old 2002 has got my 2005 out of trouble. He was such a pleasant person and I got a real kick out of talking motors and driving with him.
