Carry On

A mere twelve hours or so after finishing “Made in Dagenham” and I’m back at it, rehearsing for Panto. Very tired today, but we managed to get all the way through Act 1 of “Aladdin” quite successfully. I even got to try on my costume for the first time. You can tell it’s our 50th anniversary show because all the principal characters are getting new costumes and hang the expense! And, as you can see from the photo, we’ve also splashed out on some new backcloths.
It’s good to be just concentrating on the one show now (though there is a possibility that might change) and I’m looking forward to having a few quiet nights in going forward, starting with tonight.
The downside to all this free time though is that I might actually have to consider starting some of the jobs I’ve been putting off on the grounds of being “too busy acting, darling…”
