From Middle to East Tennessee

We were up, packed, shopped and still in time for 8:30 Mass. On the way back to the hotel, we stopped at the Willy Nelson General store and picked up a few “made in Tennessee” items to take home to the family, all edible. No one needs stuff at this point in their lives. We checked out of the hotel and headed east. Our only stop was at Buc-ee’s to fill the gas tank and grab a sandwich. They had 128 gas pumps, all filled and more cars in line. The store was just as crowded. Crazy. The trees are still beautiful albeit past peak. The leaves were swirling around the car in the breeze; how fun. We made it to our next hotel after picking up Mike. We are visiting Bob and the entire family except Jillian. We are all going to Buddy’s BBQ to celebrate Riley’s 21st birthday. We are rarely here for anyone’s birthday so this is special. See my extra. Wishing you special memories as the new week begins. Stay safe. Thanks for visiting. “Fall colors are funny. They're so bright and intense and beautiful. It's like nature is trying to fill you up with color, to saturate you so you can stockpile it before winter turns everything muted
and dreary.” - SIOBHAN VIVIAN
