Fungi at Swanholme

According to Google Lens this is Laccaria Laccata, otherwise known as The Deceiver mushroom, as it changes colour frequently with age and with the weather, making them hard to identify. They're apparently edible but as they are so notoriously difficult to identify I didn't risk picking any to go in tonight's stirfry!

The stuff that looks like grey seaweed is a type of lichen called Star-tipped cup lichen. (Cladonia Stellaris)

Brian is using up some time off owed to him so we have taken down most of my Halloween stuff and been shopping at Morrison's. We went to Hartsholme/Swanholme for a little wander before going to the store. There was quite a bit of fungi around, and we saw some shoveller ducks though unfortunately it was not possible to take photos of them.

The window cleaner was here when we came back. Minstrel was torn between wanting to investigate the shopping and play "Chase the Chamois"

Tomorrow we will get a bit more done of my yoga room. It will soon be ready!

I'll be glad when I have finished all the antibiotics. The side effects have not been too bad, but having to eat at 6AM and 10PM to avoid them is annoying. Also, one type is huge, coarse textured and very hard to swallow. Of course it's the one I have to take the most of!
