Beech leaves
The horrible grey clouds this morning finally lifted and we had some sunshine later in the day. We haven't had sunshine for so long that I was beginning to feel as if I was living in a post apocalyptic world!
I spent a good part of the day chasing a parcel that wasn't delivered. I get so annoyed when you order something online from a company whose website ends in 'co.uk' only to discover when it is dispatched that it is being shipped from Europe. Delivery was attempted on Saturday when we were both home, but I got a email to say as delivery could not happen because I was out, it has been redirected to a pickup point which was ...at a La Poste in France! Then today I was notified by Parcel Force that it would be delivered between 12.35 and 13.35. They came at 12.30 and as I only got home at 12.33 they took it away again. I have a very large obvious parcel box at our gate where every other courier happily leaves parcels, but they seem to have not noticed it! I ended up walking to our local post office twice today to see if Parcel Force had taken the parcel there, as they sometimes do - but they hadn't. Just frustrating that they did not leave the parcel in my large, very noticeable parcel box!
Camera club tonight and it is a member's evening. Some members are away at another club for an inter-club competition but I chose to go to the member's evening instead.
I have packed my camera bag for Thursday when I go to Spain - as always with wildlife photography, as it is long lenses it is very heavy!
