Sally Mair - Loving life

New Town

This display is one of my favourites New Town entrance. It changes with the seasons and over the last year of so has added a stair lift to the display. I don't think it can be used though, or at least not very much as it's fairly inaccessible.
I was up early this morning to take the girls to school. They were both pretty tired after a night at the fireworks display, Isobel's dancing competition and Eilidh's weekend at Guide Camp.
From school I went to Ainslie Park to watch Josie at her swimming lesson then headed into Canonmills. The Bearded Baker's Bagels were calling me, I enjoyed a half hour break with bagel and coffee and bought a doughnut for consumption at a later date.
We took my car down to the garage ready for its MOT and service tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
I think my early morning/later night caught up with me as I went for a doze this afternoon. I don't think I'd have survived bridge otherwise!
Bridge this evening was good, It's so nice being amongst a group of (tonight 20) friendly like minded people who enjoy playing together but not in a cut throat way. Easy for us to say as we won, lol.
Off to bed for a fairly early night. I need to sort out my car insurance tomorrow, apparently the best rate for quotes is 3-4 weeks before renewal.
