School Denners

A beautiful sunrise this morning, but soon clouded over, with the odd drizzle showers.  Calm all day.  Still mild, t-shirt weather again today.  

Another early start on the toon essykert.  Today I was with Cliffy driving and young Steven loading with me.  Black bag waste again today.  We started with various streets in Lerwick, then tipped.  Over 10 tonnes in Scalloway after break and afternoon.  Walkies with Sammy after work.  A fine quiet evening at home, then last walkies before bed.  Over 24,000 steps again today, with more later. New Shetland drama starts tonight, I may appear at some point at the airport. 

We arrived in the village, and obviously plenty of folk I know to speak too.  Next stop was the school, we tipped their big wheelie bins.  We had to pass by the school canteen, where I spotted some friendly faces inside.  They banged on the windows, insisting I snapped a quick photo of them, sadly no free school meal.  Friend Julie (Jamieson) and Andrea (Laurenson), in the canteen hatch, Scalloway School.
