The Third Bird

I was hoping to blip another bird today to make it three in a row. Luckily for me this wren popped up in the garden to help me out. There's very little doing otherwise -  few birds about and no other wildlife that I could see. 

I was awake unnecessarily early this morning, having hoped to have a slightly later start today. To make the most of being awake to took myself off to the pool and had a decent swim. Walking there and back and doing some lengths is a good start to the day. 

I've planted  paperwhite narcissus bulbs in the hope that they'll flower in time for the festivities. I usually get the timing wrong but perhaps this year will be just right.
