A mini blipmeet
A visit this afternoon from hazelh and Mr hazelh (also known as Tim) this afternoon. They are having a short holiday in Northumberland and were en route to stay with an old friend in Hexham. (To be clear, she and they are not old…..!)
I had a very busy day.
First I did some furniture photography for Ian next door. He find all sorts of unusual pieces.
Then I tried to dash into town, but the traffic was awful. I made it to Aldi for a very quick shop.
Then to see Margret. I arrived after she had eaten lunch. It was not her order and a staff member promised to bring another dinner, but never reappeared. Margret ate what she could. Her scrambled eggs for breakfast did not arrive because someone “forgot to make them”.
All this makes her upset and puts up her blood pressure.
I am cross because after being taken to the toilet, hand washing is not suggested/arranged/facilitated. When I am there I can make sure that Margret uses hand wipes, but what about all the other patients? Infection control is supposed to be a hot topic.
I didn’t check my blood pressure!
I was home in time to have a quick lunch before Hazel and Tim arrived.
We talked about caring for the elderly, particularly Margret and Hazel’s mother. They gave me tech advice about buying an Apple Mac Pro. I’m very excited and have ordered one. Hopefully it will do me for the next 10 years.
Tim used his long arms to take today’s blip.
