Service & Sacrifice

Today is Veterans’ Day here in the US. A day to remember and honor those who fought for our freedoms, and all those who sacrificed their lives. I worry sometimes if our tradition in honoring these freedom fighters will die with the baby boomers. For me this is especially true after witnessing the political shift that’s happening in our country • My Dad and his two younger brothers joined the Navy after Japan attacked Pearl Harbor; the youngest was killed in the war at 18 years old. I honor and remember their service today and always • A mostly quiet day here with a couple of War Movies on tap for this afternoon • May we never forget • Peace & Love
