Pond, Mote Park

A few weeks ago people were working on this area to create a new pond. Since then things have settled down and the raw banks are just beginning to green up. It looks very fine with reflections and waterfall: https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3286058899173541249

We were on our way into town so that Susan could buy a new pair of walking shoes. And of course a coffee. We also bought some gram flour, macadamia nuts and fruit tea.

Another busy afternoon in the garden. Turned the compost in the bin, emptied and tidied out the greenhouse and raked up leaves. Still that compost to shift at the allotment.

It’s the Marmites tonight. Not been for a couple of months. Looking forward to it.
