Sunset
We took mum to a GP appointment today. A challenging exercise as mums mobility has declined so much in recent months. Parking at the health centre was awkward, all wheelchair spaces full, so I stopped by the entrance with my hazard lights on and unloaded before squeezing into a space. The GP has arranged many tests and scans, reassuring to know mum’s being checked over very thoroughly but worrying that there may be something seriously wrong.
When we finally emerged, 90 minutes later, we found that I had left the hazard lights on and the car wouldn’t start. So mum had a wheelchair ride in the sunshine back home! Thankfully when I returned to the car an hour later, the battery had recovered enough for the car to start ok. After recharging it with a run around the area and doing some shopping, it was almost sunset time so I took Meg out for a walk and we mooched round the park until the light failed.
