A view from Jeanneb

Inversion.

A pleasant I’d slightly dark start to our early Thursday walk. Not as cold as yeaterday.
A nearly full compliment of walkers headed up the hill through the St Ives Estate. Lots of lovely leaf litter still but what caught our attention at tge top of the estate was this view down into the Aire Valley. The town of Keighley is completely hidden beneath a cloud inversion. Looking a bit like a lake from above.

We continued down to the field where the sun was rising and then fed the hungry swans and ducks on the pond.

Posting early as I’m going to singing this afternoon, having missed two Mondays so some new songs and song alterations to catch up on.

After we are heading over to Ilkley cinema to see ‘Paddington in Peru’. Supper afterwards, so quite a full day.

Another sunny day so the last lot of washing has gone out so that’s pretty much all the holiday washing done.
