The last

bloom on the sunflower plant.

A bit of blue sky appeared a little later than yesterday but at nearly 4.00 pm it is now gloomy with a bit of dampness in the air!

I am just back from a lovely lunch with the ‘Ladies who used to’ at the Busfeild Arms ( correct spelling ) in East Morton.

Earlier I popped into the garden to get this snap of one of the last blooms on the Sunflower plants that we grew from seed. This will be the last one, there are one or two smaller ones but with a very cold forecast for next week and the possibility  of snow and frost I think we can say these will be the last.
