Abstract Thursday: Colourful
A busy day today. I was at church this morning for Bible study. This was cut slightly short this morning, so those members who were able could go to Matthew 25 Ministries in Blue Ash, where we were going to meet for lunch - they have a cafe there - and then stay and volunteer for a couple of hours. Matthew 25 Ministries is “an international humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization helping the poorest of the poor and disaster victims locally, regionally, nationally and internationally regardless of race, creed or political persuasion” I had volunteered there once or twice before, but not for a while, and it has grown a lot since I was last there. Lisa, our group leader, had requested sit-down jobs for us, since some of the ladies (there was one man with us) can’t stand for very long. While we were there, it was throwing it down with rain outside, so it was a good thing to be doing on such a day. I got home soon after three, then we were both back at church for 6pm for handbells, followed by choir practice.
Still feeling rather down, but the music tonight helped -:nature and music are both great healers for me.
For my blip, I used one of my decorative plates, that we bought in Istanbul, and played with it in one of my apps.
