Out and About..

Yes...I actually made it to the lake today..just a quick visit, en route home from the grocery store - just to take a peek..and yes, everything was still there..the wharf, the light, the beach..same old, same old, but good to finally see it all after such a long time. 

It was a cold and blustery day with high winds which required winter apparel. I did not spend much time in search of blips but, scarf-hat-and-mitt-less, I snapped what I could see quickly and hurried back to the car. 

It was book club day, which was conveniently being hosted next door by Elaine, so I did not have to venture far...but I had no choice about the groceries..the fridge was bare of all things fresh.. I had to get out..despite still being a bit tentative about driving.. 

Oh..and I also picked up two new books at the library en route home - so had to quickly finish the book I was reading tonight ..so I can start a new one tomorrow!
