It’s Friday Again
I joined the BlueTits at Porty this morning when the tide was on the rise and we didn’t have to walk too far to reach the sea. I have a reliable reading of 10° for the water temperature which is still on the mild side for the middle of November. The sun shone intermittently, the wind was gentle and the sea was calm. This might be the last day of mild weather before all hell is let loose as a cold front is borne in on forecasted north winds straight off the Arctic. I have taken the precaution of retrieving my winter dry robe from the wardrobe and storing my summer one until next year.
With two of my TGIF neighbours relaxing in pastures very south of the Border there are only two of us gate crashing the Marriott Aparthotel to see if we can get a glass of wine. We used to meet there before Covid but afterwards we didn’t seem to be so welcome and we found various other meeting places. Now we have been welcomed back.
