Waterside walk
Tessa and I went for a walk on the Frampton Court estate today, near Franpton-on-Severn. Annie was supposed to join us, but she was having problems with a cabinet-maker.
Today was a perfect day: dry, sunny, with autumn colours still in evidence. We found a walk taking in the two lakes, then went back to the village for coffee outside a cafe in the sunshine. Drove back to Stroud and had lunch at the Trinity rooms, then got on with some chores. Now I'm watching TV.
I'm also breaking up and dispersing my Christmas card and stationery stock, since I haven't run a stall since December 2022. The obvious thing would be to give it all to a charity shop. I might go to Stonehouse tomorrow to do that. Don't want to see it in Stroud every day (the parent companies hat I bought the cards etc from went bankrupt, twice). I can't keep holding of unsold stock when so many people have nothing this Christmas.
