Red

The liturgical colour in the church for the season of the Kingdom of Christ, which leads into Advent, is red.

It looked good as we still have some remembrance tributes up, obviously Remembrance Sunday was a week ago and the service after the act of Remembrance at the village war memorial was at the Congregational church across the road. The service alternates between the churches each year but our lovely ladies decorated our church anyway and of course we were elsewhere so it seemed a shame not to show the tributes. 

It seemed to turn much colder about half way through the service and it was raining when I came out to walk home.
Here comes winter!
