Kumbaya..

A busy day…first Pilates and coffee then later to lunch with two friends I met on charity challenge cycle rides over ten years ago…it’s the 10 year year anniversary of our challenge in Tanzania and Zanzibar for the Genesis Research Trust. This was founded by Professor Lord Winston for research into women’s fertility issues; Fern Britten was an ambassador and came on a lot of the challenges and actually cycled like the rest of us. Fern has a new book out which I have just read for interest, a very quick read about Repowering her life! I think she has had a much more complex life than many…I don’t feel I need repowering!

Picked up the grandchildren as usual and they did some piano practice. They have discovered more of the features of the electric piano including that it will record….good for them to record and play back to see what their playing sounds like! I never played the piano other than with one hand so I can actually play this beginners book and had a go at the carols in it! They liked playing Kumbaya.

Horrid rain and not a good forecast for tomorrow either!
