Who, Me?
To update last night: Parker’s team won the semifinal game. They played the championship game at 6:20, lost 8-6 but it was a fun game to watch. Second place is commendable! I needed to thaw my hands and feet afterwards. Lol. We woke up and realized it was time to get serious about our 3 week WV adventure! Sometimes, you aren’t sure which way to start. Tonight, I am going to create a “must do before we leave list”. That will keep me sane. Today, I went through food on hand and put those things that are on our WV shopping list in our travel crates. This silly squirrel watched me parade around the kitchen with much interest. When I got back in the car yesterday, I found my Blessed Mary gold medal lying on the ground. The clasp has failed. Hubby took the gold chain to the jeweler’s to be repaired. He then went to the grocery store and bought the rest of our non-perishable groceries for the trip. I will get whatever else my sister is transporting for us later in the week. She and our BIL stopped by to give us country sausage links we’ll use for Christmas breakfast. They exchanged them in my freezer for the large roast we’ll have while Jamie and Parker are with us at the farm. We are still working on laundry now. I’ll probably have to iron before I am ready to pack. Skylar and Trevor came by on their way to the drivers’ license office. We gave Trevor his 21st birthday gift. My biggest accomplishment of the day was bagging up all the gifts I’ve purchased so far by recipient. I have five XEROX boxes to put in the van. We’ll wrap all these gifts in WV. I sat down to update my grocery list and immediately fell asleep. We are both still not 100% from the pneumonia. Not going to get packed that way. Wishing you a calm, stress free week. Stay safe. Thanks for visiting. I am trying to keep up with your posts but not completely successful.
