Beautiful, inside and out!
The funeral tribute site that I found has a feature to allow friends/family to upload photographs. One of Aimee's oldest friends (they met at pre-school aged 4) uploaded this today. Looking absolutely stunning - not sure where it was taken but looking beautiful (I know I am biased). I remember walking along the road with Aimee on numerous occasions and she would often get a sideways glance from both men and women (and they certainly weren't looking at me!) and she was totally oblivious, having no awareness of her beauty. Although she was more than physically beautiful, she had a beautiful soul and heart and was filled with kindness. I miss her so much.
Today started with an hour in the garden planting the very last of the bulbs. I also dug up the wallflowers which I had planted from seed and added them to the pots, probably won't bother next year as they are a bit 'leggy'. I came in around 12.00 for a bowl of porridge while OH wrestled with the tractor whose wheel had come off - bloody thing is needed to cut the big grass but causes lots of headaches.
I was getting ready to go out when OH opened the door to a delivery of Cook meals - thank you so much Helen - so thoughtful and kind and you hit the nail on the head as we have not really been cooking much! So very kind and much appreciated.
I drove over to see M for a walk with Scout - she is a dear friend and understands my tears. We chatted through the rain and then came back for tea and cake.
Another day done
