No Napping
Today was not a day for napping; as much as both Maggie and I were in need of one, there was no time to settle anywhere for any length of time.
It was cleaner day so Maggie and I were on the move most of the day, trying to keep out of Sherri's way, moving from one floor to another...keeping out of vacuum range..Maggie to her favourite hiding spots under beds etc and me down to the basement to sort out Christmas decorations or upstairs to my craft or my sewing room to putter and do some organizing.
I managed to clear a bit of clutter in the craft room during all this, but when I had to move to the sewing room, I was stymied...like, where to start? What to do in there? It was just too overwhelming, so I didn't...start, that is.
I just sat and stared at all that fabric and all the unfinished projects - like that quilt on the wall that has been there for years now. Some may recognize it as I have blipped it before and will note that nothing has changed - not a thing! It has not been touched!
I had been stumped at what to do next..what pattern to use in the next border? How wide should it be? What colours? Which fabric? yikes! Way too many decisions! Well, inspiration once again did not hit, so no progress was made there.
I didn't even tidy up; I just gave up and found a spot to read and finished my Peter May book!
PS: I did find something red at the dollar store for the urns (extra) which will be good enough for now...
