Welcome to Hoole

I'm in Hoole, a suburb Chester now, but I haven't explored fully yet, just lying on the bed in a B&B, waiting for my friend to arrive. I'm perfectly happy just lying around. 

Train journey wasn't bad , just two changes. From Cheltenham to Birmingham I was sitting on the floor in the bike space, because there were no seats.However, for the rest of the journey I did have a seat, and enough time to change trains. 

In Chester, the sky had turned grey and it was raining. The Google maps directions were confusing , but I did at last find the road to the B&B. It's a nice room we've got here, better than the attic in Whitby last month , and not so many stairs! There are restaurants and pubs nearby. I'm very happy to leave sightseeing until tomorrow.
