At the palace

Lovely to see sun and a blue sky this morning, it was much warmer, about 3 or 4C. 
I went to Pilates and had coffee afterwards. The chief coach for the Japanese rugby team , Eddie Jones, was also having coffee in the lounge. The Japanese team is staying there ready for the match at Twickenham on Sunday.
Later in the morning when it was a bit warmer I decided to go for a bike ride to get a book from the library and also went along the tow path to Hampton Court. The ice rink there opened today but very few takers as yet. 
The Christmas tree in the photo I thought had fallen over …. Or is it meant to be like this on the carriage? …or maybe they have laid it down in preparation for the high winds forecast for tomorrow?

I spent some time this afternoon thinking about our Christmas card list and updating some addresses on the spreadsheet. Tomorrow I aim to print the labels for those we need to post. We also usually do a Christmas letter to send too.  I think we may send some by email, particularly to those people who we did not get anything from last year! I kept a record!
