Something I Cherish

Thanks to JensPhotos for hosting Mono Monday this month and for today's theme, "something/someone I cherish".  It was either going to be Jax, Charlie or Hubs and I decided on Jax because I really wanted to try a studio-type shot of him.  I had in mind a low key image so I hung a black sheet in the basement with a light off to one side and got Jax to sit like a perfect gentleman while I fired off some shots.  Not 100% happy with this, but going with it anyway.  Next time I will experiment with the placement of the external light/s.  I will put the favorite color shot in Extra.

Slept late this morning and then worked on putting my "to do" list together for Thanksgiving, including a shopping list.  I found a recipe for a keto (no sugar or wheat) pumpkin cheesecake which looks delicious so going to try that.  We will go to the local cheese shop on Wednesday and pick up an assortment of a cheese board to start.  Dwight and Kura are bringing turkey and dressing and pumpkin pie.  

Another beautiful day so I think a walk with Jax is on the agenda this afternoon.
