A cold frosty morning. I was expecting a parcel (a book) between 8 o’clock and midday so had planned to stay in. Delivered by Royal Mail so I assumed it would come mid morning with the post. I hoped the post person wouldn’t try and force it through the letterbox. She didn’t and when I answered the door I got a cheery greeting and a warning to be careful if I went out because some paths were slippery.
After lunch I set off cautiously. I made it down the hill ok so decided to go up through Stock Ghyll wood to the waterfalls. I pointed the camera at anything that was catching the sunshine. The railings at the viewpoint won for the blip.
