Cyclist and Dog…..

Very early this morning this cyclist skimmed past with his dog in hot pursuit on the other side of the river. It was refreshingly cool as Maisie and I followed the river tracks. Today’s temperature was predicted to get to 30C and lots of folk were out and about at the river to get ahead of the heat. Good thinking. I counted over 30 happy, bouncy dogs this morning. A joy to see. Friend Lynette came and we managed some gardening done despite the heat. It got to over 32C in the porch, in the shade. Far too hot for this time of year.
