'Birds' Of The Air
It was loud but I couldn't pinpoint it to begin with. Then I spotted it, it was very high, I couldn't see it properly. I took a couple of shots and have had to crop the image drastically/brutally. It was a thrill to discover, when I examined it on screen, that I've captured an Antonov An-12B, my first. Designed in the Soviet Union, it is comparable in size and capability to a Lockheed Hercules. This one belongs to Cavok Air and was on its way to Dublin from Istanbul.
The buzzard was in the brook area again this afternoon being harried by crows.
