Veg food group outing

It was the veggie food group lunch. We went to a local place, Bewick, where I’d not been before. It was very tasty. £25.95 for 2 courses. I had root veg soup and then mushroom and spinach wellington with mash and a tomato sauce. I could also have done with a fried egg sandwich when I got home. (Small portions). Alison and I had water to drink but the others had wine. We were well-wrapped up but still felt cold. However the moaner (It were awe-ful) was reasonably cheerful so it was a more pleasant lunch than I anticipated.

Mr C and I had a quick 2 mile walk when I got back. It was very cold.

Chloe and Graham are FaceTiming tonight. He’s 70 now so we look forward to hearing about the celebrations. He sent us a photo of him at the William Wallace memorial plaque near the place he was put to death.
