Maria Wloszczowska
I’ve had a full day. A good tramp up through the woods and out to the moor in the morning followed by a quick turn round to get to Roz for the knit and stitch group. It’s a pleasant 2 hours though I didn’t accomplish much of my bedspread triangle as I needed to count and really something simple would have been more suitable for a social occasion.
When I got back I had a lengthy chat with Trailfinders about the possibility of trying to add on KL to our November itinerary. Meanwhile Mr C was back at the GP as his Staysure insurance didn’t accept the GP letter but needed a form filled in. Another £21 which I hope gets completed.
We had an early tea as we were going out to Northern Sinfonia in a church in Alnwick with Carol and Phil. It was a very old church but warm enough - wearing 4 layers and a puffy coat. Apart from some Vivaldi it was mainly Nordic - playing music by the Danish String Quartet titled Woodworks plus some Sibelius and Nielsen. Maria Wloszczowska was playing violin and Cristina Mateo clarinet. So relaxing but uplifting too.
