Stop!
After work, we walked to Wimbledon, where we picked up some things for PY's lunches and some sweet potatoes from Morrisons for our dinner. The shop has a Christmas feel as aisle upon aisle is stuffed with boxes of chocolates, biscuits and wrapping paper, mainly anything that won't spoil before the big day.
I wanted to see the Christmas tree at Wimbledon station, but it's not there, so we went into the shopping centre to see the trees there. The ice rink is also running, although all the Christmas stalls look like they will open next week. PY suggested we keep looking and get a Christmas-flavoured drink from Starbucks (mine was a gingerbread latte).
Avanti Trains rejected my delay repayment request because they said the delay was an issue with Transport for Wales. It seems they have passed my request to them. They do not make this easy: I should be able to claim from the company I bought the tickets from.
The burgers we brought back yesterday were for dinner. They were Wagu meat and delicious. Then we watched Nigella Lawson make Christmas food!
