Santa's Upgrade
Despite the grim weather the Christmas market at Wragby went ahead. Wisely the stalls moved inside the town hall and the hall of the Turnor Arms pub.
I won a couple of Tombola prizes of course and found a few things to go in the random bags of stuff I give the kids. I also bought a slice of cake for my lunch and a veggie quiche for my tea!
There was a Santa's Grotto in the pub(!) for the kids. Rather than braving the elements on his sleigh, Santa arrived in this snazzy vintage bus!
It's pretty rough outside, very windy and raining on and off too. Other parts of the country have it much worse than we do here. Every time we go out though we have to hang up our coats to dry out. Sometimes it's necessary to put dry trousers and socks on. Still, it's better than treacherous ice.
Jeri was meant to have a race at the weekend, in Leeds where Grace lives. That's been postponed, unfortunately.
We have no intention of leaving the house anymore today!
