Spillage
We have only mildly been impacted by storm Darragh here in east central Scotland. Over an inch of rain but only moderate wind that has not yet changed the sea conditions.
What it has done though, is to make it really dull and grey, even after the rain stopped. It was impossible to tell whether my camera capture mode was set to greyscale or colour. Once uploaded to my computer, I really had to dig deep to find some actual colour to enhance.
The subject of my blip is a band of rock strata that is exposed at low and mid-tide seen through a telephoto lens. The incoming waves were just spilling over it into a quieter lagoon nearer to me. For this blip, I have combined five successive waves doing just that. I tweaked the contrast and combine modes to acieve a final look that pleased me. I hope it pleases some of you too.
