Fibromyalgia Flare

I have had an agonising day with my fibromyalgia and took a guilt free rest day. 51 steps towards my paced walking fundraiser. Rest don’t quit!

Today has been a “nope” day which I very much needed. My body hates winter - and most other Scottish weather except moderate heat!

Yesterday’s steps are in the extras as I was too fatigued and busy trying to play catch up with life yesterday to Blip.

Today’s Blip is of an empty hot chocolate tin I use as a really easy Christmas decoration for my room. Illuminated house shot in the extras :)

The hot chocolate wasn’t that tasty, I saved the tin from last year but the wee switch light still works a year on, easy festive feels.

I think we all need a bit of light and hope in the darkness at this time of year. It is so cold and dark.

I hope tomorrow is less painful as I am absolutely drained. On the plus side, my asthma flare is settling down.

The steroids have helped my lungs but have interrupted my already poor sleep. They are great for my asthma flare ups but awful for fibromyalgia pain levels.

They make my mood low but I am used to the ups and downs of multiple chronic health conditions. I must say, I am feeling pretty broken and battered but will go forward with fortitude. I will always try my best.

Sorry I am so behind with comments and stars :)

Feeling very grateful and encouraged for the donations to Alcohol Change UK so far.

£66 feels like a small win for the charity given I started four days late due to the lurgy, chest infection and asthma flare up. Thanks! :)
