Little Drummer Boy

We had another semi quiet morning. My sister and I attached the ribbon to the ornaments, rewrapped them in tissue paper and put them in decorative bags. She made us a peanut butter pie for our BIL’s belated birthday “cake”. I made fresh cranberry and orange scones. Our BIL started packing since we have a full schedule for clear weather days this week. Hubby entertained Sugar and did laundry so we could get through our other jobs. We had a quick lunch and headed back to town. We had to return something hubby purchased and my sister needed one more gift. Next, we drove to Tridelphia and shopped at a few stores. I started my shopping for next year’s stockings. Menard’s had super deals, many items that will be free after rebate. It was like a treasure hunt finding those items all over the store. My sister purchased our BIL’s final gift and we snagged Parker’s birthday gift with a special Monday 15% and military 10% discounts. It is always fun to find great deals. We had dinner (wings, salads, burgers) at Quaker Steak. It was hubby’s turn to treat plus he purchased our movie tickets. Not sure if you are familiar with Luke and Josh of “for King and Country”. Their sister is Amy Grant. The movie was actually from their Christmas concert. We thoroughly enjoy their rendition of “Little Drummer Boy.” Hubby and Co. are in the grocery store while I type my journal and then we will head home. We are certainly in the Christmas spirit now. Wishing you some Christmas joy. Stay safe. Thanks for stopping by. “It was at the moment that We realized that music has power, doesn't it? But when you merge the power of Music with the ultimate power of the Gospel, it not only has the ability to Impact someone's day, But it can transform their lives for Eternity.” - for King and Country
