Mahonia

The Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadelupe.

I have photographed the new Mahonia that I bought from Etsy from birthday money my sister kindly sent me. I potted it up and prayed it will do well. They can grow several feet tall , so it could well need a space near the Oak tree in the back garden after a while.

It is a strong well rooted plant. The information says there will be yellow flowers between December and March, the time of year we need some colour in the garden.

We are watching Escape to the Country in Yorkshire and then it will be time to make the gingerbread.
