Henry Puts On the Dog...

or..something like that....

Henry, my funky find at a fun and funky local consignment shop last year is earning his keep... and showing my friends and neighbours that I was not TOTALLY bonkers when I brought him home. 

"Good heavens, what is that? " they had asked. "Why would you want a paper mache dog? He makes me smile, I said...."But where will you put him?" Never fear..I said..I will find a spot for him.....

Well, that was harder than I had thought and it turned out that the only spot I could find was on the landing of the staircase....which some folks still think is a bit strange....but I like him there in plain sight where I can see him every day. He cheers me up. 

And now look at him! The talented little fellow....He makes the perfect Christmas companion for the little tree a friend brought over for me the other day. Together, they are adding ever so much Christmas cheer to my humble home!  Who ever thought?
