Morgan Freeman's new job?

And I thought he was an actor! 

When I woke up this morning and looked out, I saw a crane outside our window, and a load of vans filled with red plastic cones and barriers. Now that the road has been resurfaced, Virgin has sent its contactors to dig up the pavements to lay cables for broadband/ cable TV.

What with the road resurfacing last month, and the men on our roof, which I haven't mentioned yet, and now the vVrgin contactors, I decided to go our office for the whole day. I've also booked a room at the surgery for tomorrow. 

Highlight of the day was going down to the district council offices to collect some household support fund shopping vouchers. The offices are housed in a converted mill, and I hadn't been inside before. We justbsatband chatted while we waited, and stupidly I didn't take a photo. 

Went back to the office and got some work done. 
Avoided the Quality Street chocolates in reception and the cheap chocolate advent calendar we've been gifted, and have remained headache -free. Yay!
