Balancing act

I met up with a small group for breakfast at a new restaurant.  Just what we needed...more Mexican cuisine. But it was tasty and plentiful.  I brought half of my omelette home and had it for lunch.  I've been trying to find uber soft foods to eat because of this toothache.  That will be over soon, I hope.  Most of the rest of the day was spent around the house and in the yard/patio.  There's nothing like sunshine to help lift my mood. I get a little bored blipping the same ol' birds so I gave this hummingbird 'the treatment.'  Hope you like the effect.

On Christmas Eve an old pensioner confronted a parking officer putting a ticket on the windscreen. "Don’t you have any mercy on us pensioners at Christmas? You really upset so many people, flouting your authority". This upset the attendant who wrote out another ticket
“Typical!” says the pensioner, you dreadful person (or words to that effect!) "That’s it!” says the parking official writing madly, “I’ve written you up for everything I can think of" and he jammed the tickets under the wiper with the rest. 
The pensioner started to walk away. "Where are you going?” shouted the officer. 
"To finish my Christmas shopping... that’s not my car!"
