Wednesday
Dry and cold, perfect weather for some stream tidying and a good tromp across the fields and through the woods with my little four legged friend Dippy. Into Torrington to collect some post and pop into the Bickford Center for some banter, tea and a biscuit or two.
On returning home I applied myself to the main task of making mince pies for the choirs festive end of term party. The oven in Amadeus is quite fierce and a couple of the pies were well done;)
I made some lime icing to add to one of the batches to make it interesting. (See extra)
After a small bowl of rabbit and pheasant soup we headed out to the rugby club for my first ever choir performance with an audience.
A really enjoyable experience with plenty of people in attendance and we were very well received by all of the 50+ audience who attended.
An amazing layout of nibbles was enjoyed by all. (minus my mince pies which I had unfortunately left behind in the van!)
All in all a very enjoyable day and evening.
