Thursday

I’m not a lumberjack but I’m capable of sawing through a few branches and small boughs which have been torn off trees by gusts of wind up to 80 mph.
I’m going to need a new saw if I’m going to have any impact on the general fallen tree situation
My “neighbours” have driven up from Southern France to be with her mum who passed away a few weeks ago. Today they borrowed my car to travel to the Crematorium down the road to say farewell to their lovely Mum.
I browsed through town and bought some half price Christmas cards and an eight inch cake tin (£1.50)
A chai latte with an extra shot of ginger syrup was very tasty, relaxing in a comfortable sofa in the lovely Lemon tree cafe.
A taxi ride home was safer than trying to get back across the A39!
£10 which equates to nearly £2 per minute!!
Dippy and I enjoyed a stroll around the farm with jackdaws filling up the valley with their chack chack chack’s.
Back to Amadeus for a lovely bowl of pleasant and rabbit hotpot.
Zzzzzzzz
